Covid-19 protocols

1.    We confirm your clean and ask Covid-19 screening questions a day in advance via text and will ask if anyone in the home has been travelling, in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with, shows symptoms of Covid-19 or is awaiting Covid-19 test results.

2.  Physical distancing is mandatory between our cleaning technicians and our technicians &  homeowners. To comply with this, some changes to how we tackle each home will be required. One technician will do the upper level start to finish, and the other will do the main level start to finish. This may affect the amount of time we are in your home as this is a less than efficient way of cleaning, but nevertheless a requirement.  Ideally no one is in the home while we are there. We kindly ask that you use that time to be out of the house (errands, exercise, etc.)  If you are unable to leave the home, we ask that you remain on a different floor or isolated in a separate room with the door closed.

3.  Hand washing is mandatory upon entry to your home. We will be using our own paper-towel to dry our hands, and we will be taking the used paper-towels and any other garbage we generate with us for disposal. Hands are sanitized upon departure.

4.   Nitrile gloves and 3 layer fabric masks will be worn in every home and washed daily.

5.   Indoor shoes are worn and sanitized between homes. Outdoor shoes will be left outside.

6. Our caddies are cleaned daily and the bottoms are sanitized between each home. Bucket bottoms are sanitized between homes. Vacuums are emptied and the exteriors are sanitized between homes

7.  Technicians attest their “good health” at the start of every day by signing a log sheet.

8.  All rags and mop-heads used are fresh in every home. We never have, and never would bring a used cloth or mop-head into your home. We wash our cloths and mop-heads in hot water and dry them on the hottest setting possible.

9. We use Lysol products in your home. Lysol is a HealthCanada/EPA approved product that will provide you with peace of mind for killing germs, bacteria and viruses in your home.

10. Physical distancing requires us to commute in separate vehicles and as a result, staffing may be affected.

11. We have a ministry Covid-19 response plan in place that was prepared using a provincial government template and is available on request.
